As recently reported by the BBC, the Supreme Court of Papua New Guinea has declared the refugee detention camp on Manus Island unconsitutional. The decision has resulted in a stalemate between the Australian and the Papua New Guinea governments over who is responsible for the almost 1,000 asylum seekers currently detained on the island.
