Conducted needs assessments of refugee and immigrant parents from selected school communities in Metro Toronto and supervised the development of the Working with Families Guide, a support resource for immigrant and refugee families. Contributed to the development of the school-based health promotion program intended to the support mental health of newcomer children.

Cochabamba, Bolivia. Cooperazione Internazionale Italia (Coopi). Evaluated an emergency project for the delivery of safe water to a population in the 'Distrito Cordillera', Bolivia, where cholera is endemic. The project was funded by the European Union.
